This polish was inspired by the January birthstone, Garnet. This stone comes from the Latin word "Garantus" which means "seedlike" referring to the seeds of a pomegranate. Garnets are traditionally known as being all red, but they can be red, green, yellow, orange, brown, pink, purple, gray, or black! These gemstones are also considered stones of love and passion thus why they are given as 2nd wedding anniversary presents.
